Penelope Bolling (743a) married Christopher Clark and they had seven children the first born in 1710. (664) Daughter Penelope M. married Capt. Christopher Clark. (357) Capt. Christopher Clark, gent. (1690-1754) was born England. Christopher Clark came to America via Barbados, settled in Virginia. Christopher Clark married Penelope Bolling the granddaughter of the Earl of Shaftsburg (Shaftsbury, Shrewsbury). (388) Christopher Clark joined the Friends in 1743 and was an overseer of Sugarloaf Monthly Meeting (MM), in 1749. (984) Daughter Penelope Massie Bolling was born 1692 to William and Sarah (Massie) Bolling. Penelope Bolling married Christopher Clark (1680-1754) in 1709 and they had a child born 1717 in Louisa County, Virginia. She died after 1754. (941) Daughter Penelope (Bolling) Clark had children born from 1710 to 1737 in Louisa County, Virginia. (984) Penelope Massie Bolling, died after 1754, was the daughter of William Bolling and granddaughter of Anthony Ashley Cooper (1621-1683) 1st Earl of Shaftesbury.
